A great time was had by all and the food was pretty darned good also. Every month we have a social where NO club business is conducted, just a lot of socializing with a smattering of B.S. thrown around to keep spirits on a high note. This month we went to 3 Bricks B.B.Q. in DeLand, a fairly new eatery. I heard a lot of comments about how large the portions were and saw plenty of “to go” boxes.
Everyone who signed up, showed up, 25 in all. It was great to see Bill & Mary Anderson attend, they have been up north for like forever.
No breakdowns on this outing, it was close to home for most of us. However, the next morning I decided to drive the “Purple People Eater” around on some errands and…wouldn’t you know it, the A.C. compressor blew-up!! Driving around with no air SUCKS, so it goes to Mark’s shop first thing Thursday morning. Until next time…
