The Volusia County Corvette Association, since our inception, see it as our responsibility to help The Neighborhood Center in their mission.  We know they are vital to the community. As such we strive to provide yearly monetary contributions, food, toys and donate miscellaneous items as requested or needed. Membership is about having fun but we’re also about making a difference in the community.

About The Neighborhood Center of West Volusia

The Neighborhood Center of West Volusia’s vision is to be an integral part of the collaborative efforts to serve the homeless, to feed the hungry and to prevent homelessness in DeLand and West Volusia County.

As a 501c3, all gifts to The Neighborhood Center are tax-deductible, and contribute to the operational costs and direct client services the Neighborhood Center provides.

Thanks to community support and financial contributions, The Neighborhood Center annually provides clothing to hundreds of families; tons of food to thousands local residents, including families and the homeless; transitional housing for indigent/homeless, families and women and children; emergency housing for 400 men, women and children; and homelessness prevention services to neighbors in need.

Can you volunteer? Volunteers are the heart of The Neighborhood Center. They are  a committed group of people who are motivated by true and ongoing unconditional love. Volunteers make a real difference by improving the quality of the lives of individuals. The work is made possible because people are still willing to give of themselves with gifts of time, energy and love. Volunteers are not extras, they are essential members of the community. The Neighborhood Center literally cannot succeed without volunteers!  Volunteers are always needed at The Neighborhood Center. Please call 386-734-8120 to speak with the Volunteer Coordinator or look them up on the website below.
