From the ashes of 2020 a Phoenix rose and a Christmas party occurred at the Sons of Italy. There was great food and we even had to add tables for the goodies. oh and the leftovers were plentiful. The drinks flowed thanks to the Sons of Italy staff. The gift exchange was very fun but way too civilized and not cutthroat. We need to shake things up next year.
Patty lost her pot and she wasn’t even drinking. Elesix lost her red placemat but she was definitely drinking. Our designated photographer, Mike, decided to catch people at their worst and he was most successful.
Right off the bat, a large debt of gratitude is owed to Cindy for coordinating and setting up the room with the help of her elves (Larry, Lesley and Mike). She also donated a recorder for the next secretary; since she can’t perform the duties. Thanks to John and Mike for ensuring the facility was scheduled just for us. Still saying thank yous but this time it’s to Pete Keller for donating two (2) “VCCA Member” signs as door prizes. Another big thank you to all the brave members that participated and brought scrumptious food to share. YOU are the rock and all that’s good about this club.
Lastly are all the congratulations. Winners of the Pete Keller “VCCA Member” signs are Nancy Quinn and Mary Anderson also Janie Nugent who won the 50/50 and gave the winnings back to the Club.
