A beautiful Saturday Morning, complete with kids, seniors, motor cycles, floats, R.O.T.C. units, bag pipes, marching bands, horses, new and old automobiles and spectators 2 & 3 deep, lining both sides of the street. All of this came together for one reason…the “parade of the year” to honor our true Hero’s. Veterans from all branches of our Military were represented here today. Past, present and future veterans (R.O.T.C.)..

The V.C.C.A. has participated in this parade since our inception in 2010. This is by far the best turnout. Depending on who you ask, we had either 26 or 28 Member Corvettes in the parade. Either way it was a great day. As usual, our event carried on to lunch at O.B.’s with about 22 members and guests on hand. Always good food and good times at one of our biggest supporters.

After Sunday off for football and/or NASCAR, we all met at our local Olive Garden on Monday afternoon where Veterans were treated to a meal to thank them for their service to our Country. We had 14 members who are veterans in attendance plus quests and spouses for a total of 24 for another great meal. Special thanks to Jim & Dee Moss for setting these events up for the V.C.C.A..
